To celebrate #nationalwalkingmonth in May 2018, we’re launching an exciting NEW photography competition for our visitors over the summer to get stuck into!
Between 10th May and 30th September 2018, we’re encouraging all visitors to CairnGorm Mountain to dust off their cameras and #capturecairngorm! Whether you’re lucky enough to snap a Ptarmigan shuffling through the undergrowth, or take an epic selfie from our viewing platform at 3,500ft – we want to see what you’ve been up to!
Get creative, step off the beaten track and breathe in the natural beauty of our home here in the Cairngorms National Park. Try one of our unforgettable Guided Walks or ride the Funicular Railway up to the summit, before tucking into delicious dishes in The Storehouse – there’s plenty for all to enjoy on the mountain!
THE GRAND PRIZE
Once our competition has finished and we’ve picked the most awe-inspiring shot from the mountain, our winner will receive one of the following (the choice is up to you!)
- 1 x Funicular Railway Annual Pass (2 Adults & 2 Children) – WORTH £76!
- 1 x Adult 2018/19 Season Pass – WORTH up to £400!

- Visit CairnGorm Mountain for an epic summer adventure
- Take a snap of your mountain highlights
- Upload your favourite picture to Facebook, ensuring you tag @cairngormmtn and #capturecairngorm
TERMS & CONDITIONS
To enter the competition, entrants must tag both @cairngormmtn and #capturecairngorm, when uploading their images to Facebook. Multiple entries per person may be submitted, but each must use the afore-mentioned tags. Entries must be made between 10th May – 30th September 2018. Winner will be chosen and notified within 10 working days of the competition closing date. Winner may choose between either 1 x Funicular Railway Annual Pass (2 Adults & 2 Children) or 1 x Adult 2018/19 Season Pass. Winner will be chosen at random and notified via Facebook Messenger. Prize has no cash value and can not be exchanged or returned. Once the prize has been chosen by the winner, no changes can be made. By entering the competition, you consent to CairnGorm Mountain sharing your name and image on our own Facebook Page, if chosen as the winner. Prize subject to availability. Information correct at time of publication. Prize is available to over 18’s only – parents/guardians may submit an image and accept these terms and conditions on a minor’s behalf. The prize does not include transportation to CairnGorm Mountain.
