Make Cairngorm Mountain Your Day Out

We welcome school trips of all ages and abilities and will strive to accommodate your requirements. The easily accessible Day Lodge is located at the base of the resort and with stunning views and bus parking available, Cairngorm Mountain makes the ideal destination.

Mountain tubing is a popular outdoor activity for children as young as 2 right through to teenagers. This can also be combined with an educational visit and talk in our Mountain Garden. Guided walks can also be arranged to suit most abilities. After all that outdoor exercise The Cairngorm Cafe can accommodate school groups and The Mountain Shop is the perfect spot for that pocket money souvenir or pack of sweets. 

What We Can Offer

Enjoy a visit to our Tubing Park, educational Mountain Garden, Viewpoints and Café.

A dedicated staff member can provide an educational talk at our Mountain Garden or on a guided walk. Children of all ages will love the outdoor tubing park with spectacular views. Take in the rugged scenery, observe plants native to the mountain and visit the UK’s highest phone box. Then enjoy a visit to one of our cafes and The Mountain Shop. Our Mountain Railway also re-opens on Thursday 26th January 2023, together with an interactive exhibition coming soon.
