Update on the use of Bio Fuel at Cairngorm Mountain

The procurement process and ITT process engaged with 4 possible suppliers who are in the government supply framework. This process was completed at the end of December and Crown Oil are the successful supplier. Trade accounts has now been set up. The supplier’s engineer has been on site last week to inspect our site storage tanks. A small order of HVO fuel has been delivered to site. We are now running a snow plough and some other machines on the new fuel, just as a final test. Everything is going well and we are making plans for a large delivery of HVO fuel once we have run down our existing stock of red diesel.
