It has been a nice week so far at Cairngorm Mountain with the forecast showing a lovely weekend in store.
We are pleased to share that Mountain Bike Uplift is now available via the Funicular to the middle station. This will be offered every day (weather permitting) when the Funicular is operating.
New for this year, you can make the most of our “Mid-Week, Off-Peak” offer on Uplift Passes, which applies to online bookings only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays outside of holiday periods.
Lot’s of fun to be had on the mountain this weekend, whether you are looking for a relaxing experience, fun family day out, or an adventure into the hills. Come on up!

Additional Information
This year, you can explore and play every day at Cairngorm Mountain. Our Mountain Bike Park, Tubing Slides, Wooden Ball Runs, Adventure Play Park, and of course, the Mountain Railway are open 7 days a week (weather permitting) excluding scheduled maintenance periods.
The Ptarmigan Restaurant on Cairngorm Mountain may at times be operating with a reduced menu meaning no hot food will be available due to temporary kitchen closures: https://www.cairngormmountain.co.uk/ptarmigan-restaurant-temporary-service-update/
Mountain Carting is not currently available as there is still snow on the upper mountain section of the carting track.
Scheduled maintenance periods for the Funicular are:
- Monday 18 May to Wednesday 20 May 2026 and reopen to the public on Thursday 21 May.
- Monday 2 November to Sunday 8 November 2026 for essential routine maintenance and compliance checks.
