Further strong winds are expected into tomorrow with southeasterly 35-45mph. There may be snow clearing required on the access roads which may take some time however, it is looking slightly warmer at lower levels which should reduce drifting.

Please do not travel until we have updated this report or our social media channels.

If we cannot open, all lift pass and equipment rental bookings will be refunded automatically. Please allow up to 5 working days for refunds to be processed.

Please do not park in any mountain car parks overnight, especially during snow storms as this can impact our snow clearing operations. There is overnight parking available in Glenmore.

Snow Level: 400m

News from the Slopes

We are fully booked for Equipment Rental with no availability for walk-ins in the morning. Please rent your equipment elsewhere if you have not arranged it already. There are several local shops with excellent kit for hire.

We cannot guarantee parking, even for pre-booked customers so please arrive early. There will be shuttle busses running from the Ciste car park from 9am. There is a regular Stagecoach bus from Aviemore or you could consider car sharing through the new Mountain Rideshare service. When our car parks are full can we kindly ask that people do not park on our access roads carriageways, as this severely hinders us in keeping traffic moving freely, and allows buses and emergency vehicles to pass safely.

Whilst we anticipate being busy with snowsports, foot passengers are still welcome to come and enjoy the Mountain Railway. Tickets for the Mountain Railway will only be available from the Ticket Office, not online.

During this busy time, we may not be able to respond to messages, comments, and email enquiries and suggest following updates on our Mountain Report.
