10:15am Saturday 7th March.
No Change to wind speeds and wind direction.
Wind gusts have dropped slightly but it is still too windy at the moment for surface lifts above Mid mountain including Coire Cas t-bar. Winds are SSW 45 to 55mph at the Top Station. This is higher than forecast at the moment, and we will keep all lifts under review. Lower Conveyer, Polar express, and Funicular open with mid Station stops. Expect queues at Mid Station unless the wind drops allowing further uplift to open.
Drifted powdery snow on a hard base to mid mountain. The White Lady has the best groomed conditions.
Constant drifting snow, from mid mountain and above.
The Forecast is Southerly winds 35 to 45 at the Top Station dropping off slightly to 30 to 40 mph, with a temperature of -1C on the upper mountain. At the Base winds 20 to 30 mph and a temperature rising to +5C. Dry with Sunshine and good visibility.
Shuttle Bus operating from Ciste.
We have great snow conditions on the White Lady Piste, the M1 Piste is full width to crossover, then thin and narrow for the last section. The top bowls are also in great shape.
Cheers Ops2

Snow Level: 600m

News from the Slopes

Lift Passes are available to book both online and purchase on the day from the Ticket Office with afternoon tickets available daily from 12:30pm. Equipment Rental bookings can be made online but please note, during busy times we may not have availability for walk-ins. If you have’t secured rental with us please hire elsewhere, you can find a list of local shops here.

Please do not park in any mountain car parks overnight, especially during snow storms as this can impact our snow clearing operations. There is overnight parking available in Glenmore.

We cannot guarantee parking, even for pre-booked customers so please arrive early.  There is a regular Stagecoach bus from Aviemore or you could consider car sharing through the new Mountain Rideshare service. When our car parks are full can we kindly ask that people do not park on our access roads carriageways, as this severely hinders us in keeping traffic moving freely, and allows buses and emergency vehicles to pass safely.

During this busy time, we may not be able to respond to messages, comments, and email enquiries and suggest following updates on our Mountain Report.
