Afternoon update Sunday 29 March.

A stormy day on the mountain with snow/rain showers and strong gusting winds, which have dropped slightly since this morning. It's cold and snowy above mid-mountain with further snowfall expected through the night so piste conditions should be much improved once the wind dies down.

Tomorrow's forecast is looking windy again with W/NW winds of 45-60mph across the upper mountain. This is likely to impact our Funicular and snowsports operations so please check for updates in the morning before travelling.

With the Easter holiday's starting we will be returning to 9am for the first Funicular uplift 7 days a week. You can also expect to see some of our other activities including the Tubing Slides and the Adventure Play Park reopening once the weather has settled. More details and booking information will be shared shortly.

Snow Level: 700m

News from the Slopes

Lift Passes are available to book both online and purchase on the day from the Ticket Office with afternoon tickets available daily from 12:30pm. Equipment Rental bookings can be made online but please note, during busy times we may not have availability for walk-ins. If you have’t secured rental with us please hire elsewhere, you can find a list of local shops here.

Please do not park in any mountain car parks overnight, especially during snow storms as this can impact our snow clearing operations. There is overnight parking available in Glenmore.

We cannot guarantee parking, even for pre-booked customers so please arrive early.  There is a regular Stagecoach bus from Aviemore or you could consider car sharing through the new Mountain Rideshare service. When our car parks are full can we kindly ask that people do not park on our access roads carriageways, as this severely hinders us in keeping traffic moving freely, and allows buses and emergency vehicles to pass safely.

During this busy time, we may not be able to respond to messages, comments, and email enquiries and suggest following updates on our Mountain Report.
