End of day -Wednesday 14th January.
Looking like a better day tomorrow with winds from the South West around 30 mph at the Top Station with a temperature of -3C. Light snow showers and sunny spells throughout the day.
Snow cover continues to improve and we now have a firm base setting up in the White Lady and Gunbarrel pistes, with Top to Base Station snow sports available down the Cas side or using the M2 and Daylodge pistes. Some powdery drifted snow settling in some areas.
M1 piste in great condition down to the race hut, the last 100 metres is firm with icy patches.
The Coire Cas and Car Park T-Bars are both now operational.
Snowsports and Funicular Railway opening at 9am.

Wintry conditions - drive with care.

Further snowfall expected into the evening. The forecast for Friday and Saturday is looking good at present.

Snow Level: 400m

News from the Slopes

A limited number of walk-in Lift Passes are expected to be available on a daily basis. However, this is not guaranteed and depends on capacity as well as the expected number of Season Pass holders choosing to visit. On busy days we can reach full capacity and may be unable to sell Lift Passes on arrival. We recommend only travelling if you’re comfortable with the possibility that you may not be able to ski or snowboard.

During the winter season, and especially on weekends, our equipment rental facility will be very busy, with wait times often exceeding an hour. At present, we are only offering helmets as part of our main rental packages.

Multi-day passes are not available at the moment and we do not have enough surface lifts open at the bottom to be able to offer ski touring tickets. Due to the changing conditions, we will release tickets only a short time in advance. If the weather is more settled, then this may change. During this busy time, we may not be able to respond to messages, comments, and email enquiries and suggest following updates on our Mountain Report.
