What time do you open?

During the winter period, Cairngorm Mountain opens for the public at 8.45am and closes at 4.15pm. Please note that this is subject to weather conditions.

What is the status of the funicular operating?

The funicular is currently out of service.

Are there car-parking facilities and is there a fee?

We have the upper and lower car parks available, charging £2 for cars and £8 for motor-homes, caravans and minivans. You can also purchase an annual season pass for £25. For further information, please click here.

Can I reserve a table in the Ptarmigan or Storehouse restaurants?

We don’t normally accept table resevations, however if it is during low season for a group we may be able to accept this booking. For further information please contact info@cairngormmountain.co.uk

Can I get married at CairnGorm Mountain?

Yes! However, we strongly recommend trying to plan your dates between May and September, as outside of this season there is an increased risk of bad weather. Please contact Lorna on l.adam@naturalretreats.co.uk for further information or visit our Weddings section.

How do I book onto a Guided Walk?

I'm struggling to book online for a guided walk tomorrow, what do I do?

We currently only take online bookings at least 48 hours in advance, but it may still be possible to book onto one via 01479 861 261 at shorter notice.

Does the guided walk price include the Funicular?

Yes, the guided walks includes travel on the funicular.
