What time do you open?

Our café and shop are open 8.45am to 4.15pm in the winter time 

What is the status of the funicular operating?

The funicular is currently out of service.

Are there car-parking facilities and is there a fee?

We charge £2 a day per vehicle during the months April to October.  If our car park attendant is not on duty, we ask you to make a £2 donation in our donation boxes located in the car park or alternatively you can pay at our ticket office. For further information, please click here.

 

 

 

Can I reserve a table in the Ptarmigan or Cairngorm Cafe?

Unfortunately due to the funicular closure the Ptarmigan Restaurant is no longer open.  During the low season we may be able to accept a booking in our Cairngorm Café or Cas Bar.  For further information please contact info@cairngormmountain.co.uk

 

 

Can I get married at Cairngorm Mountain?

Unfortunately we presently cannot offer the Ptarmigan Restaurant, however you could get married in our Cafe (car park level) . We strongly recommend trying to plan your dates between May and September, as outside of this season there is an increased risk of bad weather. Can I hire jacket/salopettes for snowsports?

We do not hire  out clothing, however there are several outdoor shops based in Aviemore who have a good range of clothing for sale to suit all budgets.
