The Mountain Tubing and Adventure Park is a must do activity if you are visiting Cairngorm Mountain and the Aviemore area this spring, summer or autumn. Located at the base of the ski area it’s just a few steps away from our car park. Enjoy an exhilarating, high-speed experience with incredible views over Loch Morlich and the Spey Valley.

Suitable for all ages

Here at Cairngorm Mountain, we have slides suitable for all ages making a trip to the Tubing and Adventure Park a fun-filled day out for all the family. Each session on the tubes lasts 30 fun minutes together with a short safety briefing beforehand. Regardless of ability our enthusiastic team will be on hand to offer encouragement and answer any questions so you can enjoy your experience in the safest way possible.

Pre-booking is highly recommended. Book ‘wee slide’ for the Snowflake or ‘big slides’ for the Cliffhanger and Spindrift. See below for age and height requirements.

The Snowflake

With a gentle slope designed specifically for our mini tubes, the Snowflake is perfect for wee ones and those who aren’t quite confident to take on the bigger slides.  Please note all children using the slide must be supervised at all times by their responsible adult, make sure the bottom of the slide is clear before your child sets off. The ‘Snowflake’ slide is not manned by a slide attendant, it is the duty of the participants responsible adult to ensure they adhere to the regulations of the slide and the tubes.

Suitable for children aged 2 to 8.

The Spindrift

At over 70 metres long with two exhilarating bends the Spindrift is our most popular slide. Fly round the corners at high-speed or if you’re looking for an extra bit of excitement take a spin off the start.

If you would like a spinning start just ask one of our friendly slide attendants.

Suitable for age 4+ and above 1 metre tall. 

The Cliffhanger

Step up to the edge of the Cliff-hanger and experience a thrilling adrenaline rush on the way down. 

Drop off the edge for a real thrill!  For full details on age and height restrictions for the slides please see our terms and conditions.

Suitable for age 4+ and between 1 and 2 metres tall.

Adventure Play Park

Climb aboard the Adventure Play Winch Cat and Zip Line for more outdoor fun. There’s also seating to allow you to watch your little ones in action. 

Under 7’s must be supervised by their responsible adult at all times. Suitable for younger children only.

If you are not participating in a tubing session the adventure park is accessed via the signposted route over the bridge from the Day Lodge. Please try to avoid obstructing those using the tubing slides. If you are planning to stay and play after your tubing session please return your tube before doing so.

Online Gift Vouchers

Due to popular demand we’re delighted to now offer online gift vouchers for our mountain tubing. To buy a voucher simply click the ‘Purchase as a gift voucher’ option when ordering and you’ll receive the voucher straight to your email box. Each session lasts for 30 minutes with an additional safety briefing beforehand. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Children's Parties

Combine the thrill of mountain tubing with party food! Mountain tubing is perfect for children’s birthday parties in Aviemore.

After a full on fun tubing session enjoy a private area with party food on the mezzanine in the Cairngorm Café.

Group Tubing Sessions

We welcome group bookings too. From schools to hen do’s we’ve catered for all types of bookings. Just get in touch to organise your next event! Mountain tubing is great for groups of all ages and most abilities. Book your own private group session with us and we can also arrange for food and drink for you in the dedicated mezzanine of Cairngorm Cafe for you after your session. We’re also licensed too if you are looking for a grown up party.
