We are seeking an inspirational and experienced Chief Executive to lead the design and implementation of high quality business strategies and plans that will grow the business sustainably and benefit the local economy and wider tourism and snowsport sector.

Cairngorm has been a cornerstone of Scottish skiing since the 1960s, and snowsports remain a core element of our visitor offering and brand. Many visitors are also drawn here by our fame as a haven for wildlife and flora, including many rare species. However, the resort is so much more. Stretching over 3,500 acres, Cairngorm Mountain Estate has been a premium Scottish attraction for decades, appealing to nature lovers, families, walkers and climbers, and, of course, winter sports enthusiasts.

Leading CMSL to develop and fulfil Cairngorm’s potential in the coming years will be the key focus for our new chief executive. With oversight and direction from the CMSL board, they will guide our dedicated and highly experienced staff to rebuild and consolidate Cairngorm’s position as a major player in Scotland’s vital tourism sector.

Achieving and sustaining this goal will require an exceptional person – someone who not only has the right experience and skills, but who also shares our commitment, passion and sense of urgency to drive CMSL forward as a successful business in its own right and a key economic driver for the local area.
