Special Event Access & Admission Terms
Valtos presents: High Water Mark (Live at Cairngorm Mountain)
By purchasing a ticket, attendees agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. EVENT ACCESS
- Access to the event is by valid event ticket only. The event ticket includes return transport on the mountain railway solely for the purpose of attending the event.
2. OPERATING HOURS
- The event operates entirely outwith normal mountain railway operating hours. No public or timetabled passenger services will be running during this period.
3. SEASON PASS & STANDARD TICKETS
- Season passes, annual passes, concession passes and standard railway travel tickets are not valid for travel to or from this event. The event is a private, ticketed function separate from normal railway operations.
4. TRANSPORT CONDITIONS
- Rail transport is provided exclusively for event attendees. Boarding will only be permitted on presentation of a valid event ticket or booking confirmation. Travel is limited to the advertised event services.
5. ADMISSION
- Admission to the Ptarmigan Top Station venue is restricted to event ticket holders. Railway and event staff reserve the right to refuse transport or venue access without a valid ticket.
6. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE WINDOWS
- Event transport services will operate only during the published boarding and departure times. Late arrivals may not be accommodated and no refunds offered. Return travel will operate at scheduled times following the event.
7. TICKET USE
- Event tickets are non-transferable unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
8. GENERAL RAILWAY CONDITIONS
- Standard railway conditions of carriage apply where relevant unless expressly varied by these event terms.
9. AMENDMENTS & OPERATIONAL CHANGES
- Event timings or transport arrangements may be adjusted where required for operational, safety or weather-related reasons. Any significant updates will be communicated to the lead booker using the contact details provided at purchase.
10. WEATHER & OPERATIONAL DEPENDENCY
- Operation of the mountain railway and event is subject to prevailing weather conditions, including but not limited to high winds. In circumstances where railway operation is deemed unsafe, the event may be delayed, relocated to an alternative venue operated by Cairngorm Mountain, or cancelled.
11. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
- In the event of full cancellation by the CMSL (the organiser), ticket holders will be entitled to a refund of the face value of the event ticket. Booking fees may be non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued for:
- Adverse weather not resulting in full cancellation
- Venue relocation within Cairngorm Mountain facilities due to adverse weather
- Late arrival outside transport windows
- Refusal of entry due to breach of these terms
12. SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE
- Attendees must comply with all instructions given by railway staff, event personnel, and security teams. For safety reasons, guests must remain within designated areas and must not interfere with railway infrastructure or mountain operations.
- The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any individual whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, intoxicated, or in breach of these terms, without refund.
13. PERSONAL PROPERTY
- Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. The organiser accepts no liability for loss, theft or damage to personal property unless caused by proven negligence.
14. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
- Purchase of a ticket constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
