We’re excited to be teaming up with Ellis Brigham to bring a Ski Demo Day to Cairngorm Mountain on Saturday 28 February 2026.

Demo days are the best way to find your perfect setup. It’s your chance to compare shapes and performance characteristics before making your next upgrade.

Suitable for all abilities, this event gives skiers the opportunity to test the latest skis in real mountain conditions, right here in the Cairngorm Ski Area!

From piste-focused carvers to versatile all-mountain skis, there will be options to suit a range of abilities and terrain preferences from brands including Nordica, Atomic, Völkl, and Rossignol.

What’s Happening & Where

Conditions are all time at Cairngorm Mountain right now, with all but one of our surface lifts in operation alongside excellent snow cover on the pistes. As always in the mountains, flexibility is key. We’ll monitor conditions closely and share final operational updates ahead of Saturday 28 February.

Demo Centre @ Day Lodge

The Day Lodge, located at the top of the car park, is home to all our main facilities. The Demo Centre will be set up out front for easy access right at the start of your day. Toilets, the Cas Bar, and Cairngorm Cafe can be found inside the building so there’s everything you need for a comfortable day on the mountain.

From here, head out onto the Beginners Area to get your set up dialled in then jump on the Car Park T-Bar for access to the mid-mountain. Or, if you are ready to get right into it, the Funicular Railway will take you up to the top where you can enjoy lapping the top bowls, or carving your way all the way down to the bottom.

The demo day is open to skiers of all abilities whether you are thinking of upgrade your current skis, fancy trying out a different style, want to compare different brands back-to-back, or just experience this season’s latest technology.

The experienced team from Ellis Brigham, alongside brand representatives, will be on hand throughout the day to:

• Offer expert advice.
• Help you choose the right ski for your style.
• Ensure bindings are correctly set.
• Answer technical questions.

As well as all that, as a thanks for getting involved, if you take a ski out for a test run and provide feedback to our team on the ground, you’ll be entered into a draw to win a £100 Activity Gift Card that can be used to purchase Lift Passes and book other activities at Cairngorm Mountain!
