Parking over the winter season is free. Income received will help offset the significant cost of a new upgrading of the main car park, currently nearing completion. During the winter season you can provide a donation and you’ll find donation boxes around the car park and you can also donate in The Mountain Shop.
Parking is on a first come first serve basis, and we cannot guarantee there will be spaces especially during peak times. Please ensure you arrive early to avoid disappointment, once full we will operate a 1 in, 1 out policy. We ask that during the winter months all hillwalkers and climbers accessing the Northern Corries path to use the lower level parking to allow for our snowsports customers space in the upper level.
Coire na Ciste Car Park
Parking is also available at Coire na Ciste. Once a key access point to the more technical snowsports terrain at Cairngorm Mountain this is now a common parking location for mountaineers throughout the year as well as a popular stopover site for campervan and motorhome users.
In the winter it is utilised as overflow parking with a shuttle bus operating to get visitors up to the slopes during peak times.
Our newly developed aire ‘The Cairngorm Motorhome Site’ and it’s facilities are available here from May until October, you can find out all about it here.
Please note: Cairngorm Mountain (Scotland) Limited car parks are used at the vehicle owners own risk and we accept no liability for any loss or damage to vehicles or their contents.
