What a great end to Sunday in the Cairngorms 🎅🏂🎿 The cloud cleared this afternoon and gave us brilliant views over Glenmore and Strathspey. Thanks to everyone who came up for snowsports and to those who joined us for our first Santa’s Grotto of the season. Big shout to the Cairngorm Reindeer Herd for stopping by, and to Santa for taking a trip on the Funicular. The wind is due to pick up tonight with gusts up to 70mph, which should help move some of the snow around. It should calm down by tomorrow morning, dropping to around 20–30mph. We’ll be running the Polar Express Poma and learners area - the team will assess conditions first thing to see if any further terrain and uplift can open. Check back for an update around 8:30am. First public train is at 10am. See you tomorrow. #cairngormmountain

The Cas Bar has been transformed into our festive grotto in preparation for Santa Claus stopping by tomorrow! 🎄🎅🏼 The grotto experience is sold out however, we will have a snow covered area outside the front of the Day Lodge for children to play on and the @cairngormreindeer will be there looking after Santa's sleigh. It's looking like a cold but sunny day on the mountain so wrap up warm, come along, and enjoy some festive family fun 🎁 #cairngormmountain #cairngorms #santasgrotto #christmas
