Winner in the ‘Best Active Venue’ category at the 2010 Rough Guide to Accessible Britain awards, Scotland’s only Funicular Railway at Cairngorm Mountain has carriages that are easy to navigate, comfortable and have plenty of room, making them ideal for those of all abilities! Cairngorm also features on Disabled Holiday Info where visitors can find out the need to know details to plan their visit including information on ramps, facilities and arrivals.

The founder of Paradventures, Gordon McCregor, recently visited Cairngorm Mountain with a group of youngsters from the Capability Scotland Stanmore House School, who were visiting Aviemore to experience natural adventures first-hand.

As well as enjoying nature trails at Loch Morlich, the group visited Cairngorm Mountain and rode the Funicular Railway all the way to the top station where they could enjoy unique views from over 3,500ft!
