From directions and travel suggestions to other useful hints and tips, explore our extensive guide to Cairngorm Mountain below. Our ticket office winter opening hours are 8.45am to 4.15pm.
We would like to reassure visitors of the steps we are taking to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff in light of the uncertainty we face with the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
While we want to continue to welcome visitors to enjoy snow sports at Cairngorm Mountain, CMSL has taken the decision to close areas of the site, which will come into effect on Wednesday 18 March 2020.
The ski area and lifts will remain open until further notice, weather permitting, with visitors able to purchase tickets from the Base Station. Maximum day tickets will be 450. Visitors can use single use on T-bars or double-up with family and friends.
Public spaces within the Day Lodge, including the Cas Bar, café and shop will close, along with ski hire. Customer toilets will remain accessible from the Base Station and within the Ptarmigan building when it’s possible to open the top station. All areas open to the public will be deep cleaned and disinfected on an hourly basis.
We will continue to follow the guidance of the NHS and Scottish Government and will share regular updates of the precautionary measures we are implementing at Cairngorm Mountain.
We thank everyone for their support during these uncertain times. Please do not hesitate to speak to a member of staff if you have any queries or concerns.
