The ATV tour aim to engage visitors with the landscape of the Cairngorms and enhance their experience of this significant mountain landscape in the heart of the National Park. Participants agree to follow the instruction of the guide and remain with the party at all times.
Participants must be able to walk steadily for 2 hours with several breaks.
Any medical conditions should be declared at point of booking.
ATV tours are designed for people over 135 cm tall. Passengers must be able to sit with their backs against the seat and feet flat on the floor. We have no provision for small children in the ATV.
Dogs are welcome as long as they are well controlled and will be required to be kept on a lead at all times while walking with the group.
Suitable mountain footwear (walking boots preferable but trail shoes are acceptable). Waterproof outer clothing and a hat should also be carried. Wellingtons and gym shoes are not deemed suitable footwear. Although the ATV cab is enclosed passengers must be prepared for all conditions.
The weather can change quickly on the mountain. Conditions are assessed on a regular basis. Where possible we will try to notify participants 2 hours in advance if the Tour is not taking place or if the weather is not suitable Please note that the decision to proceed with the Tour rests with guides employed by CMSL. If you have pre-booked a Tour and do not participate a full charge will be made for the activity.
Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance of the advertised Tour time either by telephone (01479 861261) or by email (email@example.com.) otherwise a full charge will be payable.
