Location: Cairngorm Mountain
We are recruiting two time served Electricians, ideally with technical electrical engineering experience and a planned maintenance background. An understanding of PLC systems, safety critical procedures and knowledge of cableways installation regulations would be an advantage.
It is ESSENTIAL to have an 18th Edition IET wiring regulations certificate.
The successful applicant(s) will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical maintenance and essential elements of the Funicular Railway and ski infrastructure are operating to the highest standards.
These are full-time permanent positions with a salary of £30,000 per annum.

WHAT WE NEED
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experience, highly organised and proactive individual who can support our Technical Operations team to drive forward and deliver a range of projects. To be part of our incredible team, you will need:
To be a time served electrician, ideally with a planned maintenance background.
18th Edition IET wiring regulations | BS 7617.
Experience in instrumentation and control systems, including PLC.
PAT and fixed wiring experience.
Knowledge of the PUWER regulations 1998.
An ability to work alone as well as part of a wider team, and able to work under pressure.
To be confident and willing to work outdoors in a mountain environment.
To be confident to work at height.
An understanding of safety critical procedures.
Abrasive wheels certification.
First Aid certification.
To be a motivated individual who is not fazed by an ever-changing environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The key responsibilities for this role will consist of:
Maintaining and repairing all plant, buildings and equipment that are owned and leased by CMSL.
Taking responsibility for electrical maintenance on all company uplift facilities, ski tows, snow cannons, snow factory and Funicular Railway.
Reading drawings and work to specifications as required.
Ensuring all materials are available on site for job requirements.
Working at height, potentially in inclement weather.
Taking responsibility for the test and repair of portable appliances in accordance with appropriate regulations.
Undertaking any other duties as may, from time to time, be required, including working at height.
Ensuring that the department operates to the highest standards of customer care.
Having an understanding and following the Visitor Management Plan (VMP) and being able to explain VMP to our guests.
Being aware of and following all Technical Operations Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures.
Observing all health and safety requirements and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety procedures, risk assessments and company policies.
Identifying personal development needs in line with personal and organisational objectives.
Undertaking any other reasonable duties as may, from time to time, be required.
