Art on the Mountain Exhibition Programme at CairnGorm Mountain

Throughout the year CairnGorm Mountain, near Aviemore,  is host to a range of art exhibitions displaying works from a range of local Scottish artists and photographers from throughout the Cairngorms National Park. Many of the works are for sale. Free entry.

Spring, Summer, Autumn Art Exhibition Programme

Monday 10th August - Wednesday 30th September

Location:    Base Station at CairnGorm Mountain

Jane Lannagan is based at the Tomintoul Gallery (the highest in the UK) and throughout August and September a selection of her work is on display in the Base Station at CairnGorm Mountain. Her work features landscapes throughout Scotland.

Artist:          Benromach Spirit of Speyside Photography Exhibtion (Not for Sale)
Location:    T Bar Gallery at CairnGorm Mountain

Exhibition of winning photographs of whisky - related images and landscapes form this year's Spirit of Speyside photography competition sponsored  by Benromach Distillery.

Benromach Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival Photography Competiton arrives in the T Bar next to the Base Station on Sunday 16 August.The exhibiton features the 18 winning photographs submitted for the competition from over 90 entries. A panel of 5 judges under the expert guidance of Allan Gawthorpe, the current President of Scottish Photographic Federation, selected 18 photographs for this travelling exhibition as well as choosing the winning photographs.

Entries under the themes of landscape and spirit came from all over the world, but the winners turned out all to be from Speyside. To mark the opening of the exhibition at CairnGorm, sponsoring distillers Gordon and MacPhail are holding a Benromach Single Malt whisky tasting in the T bar at CairnGorm on Sunday 16th August when visitors to the exhibition will be able to enjoy a free tasting of  the Traditional, the Peat Smoke, the Organic  and the Madeira Finish varieties of Benromach between 10am and 4pm
