The Snow Patrol Walk 02 / 05 / 2009
Join an experienced Ranger for an expedition onto high ground to see the amazing amount of snow still lying in May. Full mountain walking kit will be needed. Jane Lannagan Art Exhibtion 04 / 05 / 2009
An exhibtion of art by local artist Jane Lannagan will run from the 4th May 09  throughout the summer months in the Day Lodge T Bar at CairnGorm Mountain. Free Entry.
Spring Birds on the Mountain 09 / 05 / 2009
Come for a mountain walk with a Ranger and look for the first migrants to return to the hills. Full mountain walking kit required. Visit the walking page on the web site for detailed information on what to bring or check when you book. Suitable for adults and children age 10 -16 (accoampied by an adult). Rolls Royce at CairnGorm Mountain 10 / 05 / 2009
Rolls Royce Car Rally.  Sunday 10th May from 12 noon - 2pm. Over 60 Rolls Royce vehicles will be on display in the Coire Cas Car Park adding a touch of class to the surroundings. Visitors will be able to view the cars from 12 noon - 2pm. Free Event.
Learn to Use a GPS (Global Positioning System) 11 / 05 / 2009
Organised by the Cairngorm Rangers we will teach youhow to use the latest in navigation technology - GPS - or Global Positioning System. Meet at the Range base at 10am. We will supply a GPS or you can use your own. The day will start with 1 hour indoors so that you become familiar with the GPS units. The remainder of the day will be spent outside putting the theory into practice. Participants should arrive equipped with all the usual summer walking kit and some lunch. Max 10 people. Cairngorm Plateau Trek to Ben Macdui 13 / 05 / 2009
Join and experienced ranger for a full day long walk to Scotland's 2nd highest mountain. Participants must be hill fit and have full mountain walking kit and bring sufficient food and drink for the whole day. Max 10 people. This is an Aviemore Wlaking Festival event and should be booked on 01479 812384. Meet at the Cairngorm Ranger Base. 9am - 5pm. Adults £20, Chdilren (10-16yrs)  Concessions and Friends £13.50.
Mountain Dog Rescue Demonstration with Milly 15 / 05 / 2009
Join Milly, the Border Collie who, with the help of her handler,  Ranger Heather, will show you how mountain rescue search dogs can find casualty's on the hill - even when they are completely invisible to onlookers.The afternoon will involve a walk to Coire an't Snaechda, demonstrations by Milly, a visit to the Rescue Box and lots of captivating mountain rescue stories. Suitable for all ages. Max 15 people.  1pm - 5pm. Meet at the Ranger Base at Coire Cas. This is an Aviemore Wlaking Festival event and to book please call 01479 812384. £5 donation per person to the Search & Rescue Dog Association.
Late Mountain Snow - A Discovery Walk 17 / 05 / 2009
Join an experienced Ranger for a mountain walk onto high ground to see the remaining snow patches and find out whay they are more than just decorative.
